The profiles sold on profilesmarket.com have been carefully selected to provide you with maximum service and reliability. They meet Reach requirements and most profiles are made of 100% recyclable TPE thermoplastic rubber and comply with the main standards and recommendations in force.
You will find in the descriptions of our articles different qualities of elastomers that we summarise below.

Epdm : black rubber with a medium hardness of 60/65 shore A, very good resistance to U.V., ozone and weathering, acids and bases, detergents, chlorinated water. Bonding with cyanoacrylate glue.

Epdm foam : a quality with technical characteristics equivalent to the previous one but in the form of a small cell waterproof foam. This quality is very easily compressible by hand. Gluing by neoprene type glue.

Neoprene : commercial name for a quality of rubber of the polychloroprene type, with an average hardness of 60 shore A, black, with good resistance to U.V. and bad weather as well as to oil and hydrocarbon projections. Gluing with neoprene glue.

Nitrile : black rubber, with an average hardness of 70 Shore A, resistant to mineral oils, vegetable oils, greases, alcohols, glycols and aliphatic solvents. Bonding with cyanoacrylate glue.

Silicone : generally translucent rubber with an average hardness of 60 Shore, with good resistance to U.V. rays, high elasticity, good resistance to alcohols and detergent products. Many references are suitable for use with foodstuffs. Working temperature from -60 to +200°C. Gluing by silicone glue.

TPE : thermoplastic rubber, with an average hardness of 40 to 90 shore A. Working temperature -50 to +90°C, 100% recyclable, with very good resistance to U.V., ozone, weathering, acids and bases, detergents, oil and hydrocarbon splashes. Glued with cyanoacrylate glue and heat weldable.
